Dependency Graph
Overview
LinkFlow provides comprehensive dependency tracking for every external reference in your project. The Dependencies section of the dashboard lets you see exactly which objects, collections, instances, and overrides belong to each linked library.
Dependencies Section
Located in the LinkFlow panel under the Dependencies heading, this section breaks down per-library dependencies:
- Objects — All linked objects contributed by the library.
- Collections — Linked collections and their hierarchy.
- Instances — Collection instances created from linked data.
- Overrides — Local overrides applied to the library's data-blocks.
Library Details
Select any library in the Libraries section to view its full details:
- Health — Current link health status.
- Path — Full file path (with relative/absolute toggle).
- File Size — Size on disk.
- Counts — Number of objects, collections, overrides, and instances.
- Dependency Graph — Visual representation of the library's dependencies.
Statistics
The Statistics section provides a project-wide overview:
- Total objects, collections, overrides, and instances across all linked libraries.
- Per-library breakdowns for targeted analysis.
- Health scores with issues detection (missing paths, broken overrides, unused libs, duplicates).
Identifying Broken Links
LinkFlow actively tracks link health:
- Missing paths are flagged in the Health section.
- Use Locate Missing to scan directories for relocated files.
- Broken overrides are detected and listed with resolution suggestions.
- Duplicate and unused libraries are identified for cleanup.
For fixing broken links in bulk, see Batch Relink.
